so this has been a really long email chain, but we’re stuck on the last few…

gettin’ close to magical 5-0… should i try to go for 100 by the end of the year? that’s probably a bad idea…
so i wanted to try something different at islands… a lot of people, like rob, like drinking hef’s… not me — strange cuz i like witbier’s too (i just hate germans i guess)
anyway, this had the same type of flavor as other hefs… that fruitish, vanilla, clove, etc. this particular one tasted like crazy banana though — blech
the beer wouldn’t go away fast enough — even after drinking, later in the afternoon, i was burping up bananas (insert joke here)… not a fan of this one

rob actually got me into this beer a while ago — props for that!
sam adams boston lager is a bit too harsh imho. the light variety is a lot easier to drink… it goes down smoother
can’t wait for the summer ale to come out — it’s the bizzle (best)

i think i like any beers that come from belgium — this one is no exception.
it wasn’t a crazy hoppy beer — but tasted much like a wit — i got one of the big bottles from the store, thinking i was gonna share with rob (since it was his birthday and all), but paired with some pita chips and pepper jack cheese, i pretty much cleared this bottle (okay, he had a glass of it)
dang, i didn’t realize it was 8.50% abv — no wonder i was pretty much dozed off on the couch and had a bumpin’ headache…
i don’t care — this had a great bright taste — like sunshine after a light rain (lame)… i highly recommend it!

this one was made in 1999 for a senior english project… it was me, chris, dave, and that other dood is mike… i don’t remember his last name, but i know it sounded dirty, like mike hunt or something… oh yes… it was mike long

you don’t really need to know what the project was about — this little part was really the best part… HUGE props to rob for the editing work, getting the light saber sounds (and door sounds) to sync up well with the video (btw, the fart sound was well executed by sarmad)
and the gratuitous muscle shot… oh man… that’s why he was the lead singer of brodie… alright, joe, how about we move away from the gay comments…
you can tell what was hip at the time — wwf (not wwe, mind you) and star wars (episode 1 was JUST released)
